Welcome, welcome! If you are hopping over to my place from Leslie Hachtel's blog, thanks for stopping by, if you're staring here, WOOP! Let's go ~ This week's assignment is from the lovely A.S. Fenichel, author of Ascention, Book One From The Demon Hunter Series. Q: It's cold in most places. What's you're favorite vacation spot? So . . . I'm a warm weather kind of girl. I think most people know that. I'm a little chilly when it the weather dips below 70. I like the beach. However: When I wrote Cursed be the Wicked . . . actually, even before I wrote Cursed, I knew I wanted to visit Salem, Massachusetts some time or another. I love the history there, plus I am fascinated with all things supernatural and paranormal. I want to roam the city during their Festival of the Dead and learn as much as I possibly can about the people who lived there, what they went through and how the city thrives, today. Also, I'd really love to see that lighthouse on Baker's Island. It's on my bucket list. The only problem: It is going to be cold as all get out during October. So I guess I'll be needing to purchase something to keep me warm. You know, like a parka. I'm already cold, just thinking about it. Think I'll head over to Katie O'Connor's place and see if she can warm me up.
Where do you want to go for your next vacation?

Wow... Salem, Massachusetts. Sounds like a great trip, and definitely bring a coat. Fall in New England is spectacular.

I used to live in MD Mikki. I know that's not considered New England but we had some pretty awesome Falls too - September/October was always my favorite. My husband's been to MA and swears he's taking me. I'm holding him to it. LOL

Believe it or not Brenda, I used to weather the storms in MD for 35 years before moving to FL. It took about a year for my blood to thin out. LOL and BRRR! But would still love to see BC some day.

I dream daily of beach walking in the Maldives. That being said, I'm an ultra greedy (and deprived) traveller so I'd be happy packing my suitcase for just about anywhere!

Oh wow. Do you watch Sleepy Hollow? I'm a fan and, ever since the show started, I've been itching to go to Salem. I think it would be a great trip! =)

Xio! I got to see the first season of Sleepy Hollow but the time limits on our TV watching - well, you know what I mean. I'm looking forward to binge watching at some point. Also, did you catch the "Salem" show on - I think it was on WGN or something like that - it's set in the 17th century during the witch trial and it was pretty creepy good. I'm not sure if they got renewed or not but you should check that one out. SO looking forward to seeing that city.

Oh man. Salem would just be an epic vacation. I'm a total lover of all things witchy, and such a history dork. I would just love to roll around and check things out there. Amazing!
