Whew. It's been a while for my RWW peeps. I'm getting back in the saddle with a lot of things (don't sing that by the way - it'll be there all day), starting here. Whether you're hopping over from Jeanne McDonald's blog, or starting here, welcome! This week, Xio Axelrod, author of THE CALLUM, wants us to give our best twitter pitches for our WIPs. Mine's no where I'm even remotely close enough to wanting to share it yet, so, I'm going with pitching Cookie Cutter. Here we go. Ready? Twitter pitch: Can a slightly chaotic home renovator help rebuild the heart of recently divorced over extended PTA mom before she falls apart completely? Yep. 139 characters. Of course that doesn't allow room for any hashtags. Hashtag too long. But it was fun - and it has given me all kinds of inspiration for working on the twitter pitch for my WIP. But for now, I'm headed over to S.C. Mitchell's place to see what he's got going on for his pitch. Come with? Big, fun things on the horizon for Romance Writers Weekly, ya'll. Like for instance, I'm taking over our Facebook page all day tomorrow. Come say hi and play with me, kay? FACEBOOK | TWITTER | WEBSITE As for all things going on in my world, I'll be keeping you posted. Hopefully by way of the newsletter I just started (zoikes!). I'm kicking it off with a GIVEAWAY exclusively for subscribers - keep an eye out for more on that craziness. Other than all this, that's all I've go for you today. 8/4/2015 06:13:04 am
Hashtag too long! That's exactly how I feel. But great pitch. :) 8/4/2015 08:08:38 am
Need room for a hashtag? Consider deleting one or two of your adverbs. Kill your darlings, remember! :)
